Please, follow the procedure below:
- Log in to the control panel
- In the Software section click on the Softaculous item
- Click on Install next to the Joomla icon
- Proceed with customizing the basic information as below.
At this point, you have to configure various aspects related to Joomla, starting from the software up to the administrator data.
Software Settings
Select the basic configuration related to the software using the following items
- Choose the version you want to install: Select your Joomla version
- Choose Installation URL: Select the protocol to apply, the domain and any folder, if necessary, where you want to download Joomla
Site settings
Provide the name of the site and a brief description.
Database Settings
Choose whether to import the sample data into the site, none or only some of them.
Admin account
Provide all the data relating to access on the administrator side.
- Username admin: provide the username needed to access the site on the administrator side
- Administrator password: choose a password to access the site on the administrator side
- Real name: Provide the administrator name which must be different from the username
- Email admin: Enter admin email
Once all the required fields have been filled in, click Install to complete the operation.
