Mod_Pagespeed

Mod_PageSpeed is a module designed by Google Labs which allows to process automatically several optimizations for web pages and other resources, providing a higher speed in loading the whole code HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images, with no manual intervention on the server. The module is available for all the CMS optimized hosting plans, such as WordPress Hosting and PrestaShop Hosting.

To activate mod_pagespeed on your website, type the following rule in your .htaccess file:

<IfModule pagespeed_module>
   ModPagespeed on
</IfModule>

To deactivate the module, type, instead, the following rule:

<IfModule pagespeed_module>
   ModPagespeed off
</IfModule>


In addition to the activation and deactivation operations, you can enable or disable other filters by typing other htaccess rules.
