IPA (Indice Pubbliche Amministrazioni) is the official archive containing all public administrations references. The IPA code identifies the specific office of any single Public Administration able to receive electronic invoices. It's a 6 letters-long alphanumeric code used by Sistema di Interscambio to deliver electronic invoices to the correct Public Administration.
All Public Administrations must communicate their IPA codes and required data to their providers to receive electronic invoices correctly. You can recover all IPA codes by clicking on www.indiceipa.gov.it.
