The Whois is the database containing all informations about domains, especially the domains header data that, using Whois, are publicly displayed.
To avoid the examination of all these data by third parties, willing to steal identities or process malicious attacks, Keliweb provides you with the Whois Privacy feature for all users in need to hide their personal data. Using this option, all personal data will be, in fact, obscured from Whois.
The Whois Privacy feature provides, also, the total security for the e-mail account related to the domain. The e-mail address, in fact, will be replaced by an encrypted string.
We remind you that the new domain activations are already provided with the data obscuring otherwise the already registered domains need to use the Privacy Service feature.
