How can I access my dedicated server remotely?

All our dedicated servers support a remote access client.

If you are a Windows user and you want to access your server remotely follow the next steps:

1. Click on the "Start" icon on your PC and then on "All programs" and "Accessories"
2. In the "Communications" menu, click on "Remote Desktop Connection"
3. In the "Computer" box, click on the server's name
4. Click on "Connect"
5. Type your access username and password and click on "OK".

As the Remote Desktop window opens you will be able to view and modify all documents, programs and configuration files on your machine. You will be the only one able to see the operations that you process remotely.

To end your session:

1. Click on "Start" and then on "Log off"
2. Click on "Log off" again when required.

If you are a Mac user you can use a dedicated free Microsoft remote desktop client, otherwise if you are a Linux user use a SSH client integrated in the most popular Linux distributions.
